YSL Beauty is unraveling the mystery behind the enigmatic muse with a namesake perfume – the latest released from the brand’s Le Vestiaire des Parfums Collection.
Inspired by artists, models and loved ones, Monsieur Saint Laurent captured their essence in ink sketches, translating intentions into tangible form. Principal Perfumer Marie Salamagne blends enigmatic woody ink notes with soft, powdery iris and sensual Bourbon vanilla, creating a fragrant tattoo that leaves a distinctive and memorable impression as Monsieur Saint Laurent’s captivating muses.
“The ink reveals enigmatic woody notes, intimate and elegant smoky facets,” said Salamagne. “It veils the skin in subtle dark, metallic tones, slightly iris-y, earthy. For me, the ink takes on the colors of creativity and mystery. It stimulates the imagination.”
